Teddy smiled. He knew that'd get James off their back... hopefully.

James sighed, defeated. "Fine, I'll just leave you two to yourselves, then," he said, downtrodden. He had hoped that he'd be able to sit with his friends. "I guess I'll go find a compartment by myself..."

She rolled her eyes knowing he was going to try and make them feel sorry for him. "It's not like you don't have other friends."

James shrugged. "But I really don't..."

Teddy hated to see James so down. He looked at Victoire and lipped, "Please?" He put on his puppy dog face to beg for James to stay with them.

"Sometimes I wonder why you weren't placed into Slytherin James Potter." She muttered annoyed. She hugged Teddy." Fine he can join us but just so you'll stop with the puppy eyes Ted. You have no clue how creepy it is. It's almost as bad as my dad's bambi eyes. " She gave a joking shudder.

Teddy laughed. "Yes! Points to creepiness. Hey! They're not creepy," he said, realizing what he had just said. Then to James, "Have a seat."

"thanks," he said to Teddy. Then to Victoire, "I wasn't placed in SLytherin because I'm more of a Gryffindor than anything else... though it did say something about being a cunning person..."

She giggled. 'And why weren't you in Hufflepuff Teddy Lupin? You have no brains." She stuck her tongue out at him playfully.

Teddy feigned offense. "No more snogging for you, Victoire Weasley." He crosed his arms across his chest and looked defiant.

"Uh-oh... a lover's quarrel," James muttered under his breath.

She smirked evilly "Yeah but you'll miss me snogging you. So it won't last long."

Teddy nodded. "That's very true. But I can last for about a... few days," he said confidently.

"Really? I dare you to try." She smirked. "James don't even think about pranking this year or I'll get grandmum Weasley to send you a howler."

Teddy smiled. "I'll make it," he said, taking her on.

James was shocked. "Victoire! I never prank. Honest," he lied confidently.

"You do to. What does dumping a bucket of ice on Scorpius Malfoy's head count as? " She demanded. "And the same goes for you Teddy. Don't think I'll let you off of things just cause I am dating you."

"Scorpius Malfoy deserves everything he gets," Teddy said casually. Though inside, he was grinning, remembering the pranks he and James had pulled...

"Doing things to Malfoy don't count as pranks," James said, agreeing with Teddy. "And, like Teddy said, he deserves everything he gets."

"Oh my gosh. You two are simply awful to the poor boy. I don't know if I should be your friends anymore." She smirked. "You pick on Malfoy all the time and usually just him it isn't ethical."

"Teddy!" She shrieked happily rushing into the compartment and hugging him before greeting Victoire. "It's horrible Ted I haven't seen you for the past 4 mintues."

"Hey, Lacey!" Teddy said, smiling his very charming smile. He loved it when girls fawned over him. And then to Victoire. "Vicky, him breathing my air makes him viable to pranking."

Looks at Lacey. "Well, hello to you, too," he said, indicating that she had forgotten about him.

"Oh hi James didn't see you there!" She said hugging him before sitting down next to Victoire. "Vicky how was your summer? I barely saw you at all"
